The day that really changed our lives and our children's future forever was Good Friday on the 29th of March 2013.

I was sitting on a plane coming home from three months in Canada working with the Australian ski team.

As the plane landed, I grabbed my phone out of the seatback pocket in front of me, and when I switched it on there was a text message from my good friend and sponsor, Jen. 

She said, "I'd love you to meet these people; I know they can help you. They are going home tomorrow, so just come and listen to their story before they fly home.”

So reluctantly and skeptically, I decided to go. I went home for a quick shower, and I headed to Jen's, where I then met Sean and Kari Lyn.

Far from their home in Canada, Sean and Kari Lyn had just spent three months in Australia with their children, holidaying and enjoying life thanks to the income they'd built through network marketing.

I was eager to learn from them how they had achieved such success. However, during our conversations, they didn’t reveal any profound secrets about the universe but instead shared with me their story, their wins, and their struggles.

 In that moment, almost like a chain reaction, these light bulbs started going off my head. And suddenly- all of the challenges that I had in my life, all of the questions that I'd been asking- suddenly answers were starting to appear. 

I went home, and I said to Ange, "I think this is it.”

We realised that we needed to look at a different path. We needed to look at this network marketing thing because the path we were going down just wouldn't lead us to where we wanted to go.

And it was in that conversation, that one deep and meaningful conversation, that we decided to dive headfirst together into network marketing.
